The November community meeting for Build Intuit Dome was held at Dolores Huerta Elementary School on the evening of Thursday, November 2 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the discussion during this community meeting. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming community engagements.
During the meeting, the Intuit Dome team provided a comprehensive update on the project’s status, highlighting advancements in construction, ongoing community interaction, and the dedication of the project to sustainable practices. A total of 33 attendees participated in the community meeting. Numerous queries were raised during the Q&A segment, encompassing topics such as:
- Traffic and safety concerns related to the west garage and signal lights.
- Parking lot size compared to the Hollywood Park casino.
- Inquiries about job opportunities and contact information.
- Questions about local schools and STEM programs.
- Funding availability for home and street improvements.
- Sports programs for children and grant opportunities in Lennox and Inglewood.
- The construction of a bridge connecting Hollywood Park to Intuit Dome.
- Community benefits for the Lennox side of the arena.
- Potential collaboration between Intuit Dome/Clippers and NASA for STEM programs.
- Traffic-related concerns on 104th Street and the need for assistance with non-functioning traffic lights along Yukon.

The presence of Alfonso Ruiz-Delgado from Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell 2nd District at the meeting was much appreciated, as it demonstrated her support for Intuit Dome.The evening’s highlight featured a raffle of Target gift cards distributed to lucky attendees. However, every guest left as a winner, receiving complimentary tickets to an upcoming Clippers game.
