Empowering the Community: National Voter Registration Day

On Saturday, September 16, Intuit Dome was at Inglewood City Hall’s South Lawn for National Voter Registration Day. The annual event encourages citizens to exercise their fundamental right to vote. The event was hosted by the City of Inglewood, in collaboration with City Clerk Aisha L. Thompson. The day was marked by great turnout and a variety of activities for attendees to enjoy.

The event served as a reminder of the power each individual holds when they register to vote. It’s a chance for every citizen to have their say in shaping their community. National Voter Registration Day is about making the voter registration process accessible and straightforward, ensuring that no eligible voter is left behind.

At the informational booth, the team provided valuable insights about the upcoming Intuit Dome project and also delighted attendees by giving away free Clippers swag. Lucky participants had the chance to score Clippers gear, including hats, shirts and bags. It was a great way for residents to show their support for both the Clippers and the exciting new Intuit Dome project that’s set to transform Inglewood’s skyline.

We extend our gratitude to City Clerk Aisha L. Thompson for being a pivotal role in organizing and hosting this event. By coming together, we take a step closer to a more informed, engaged, and empowered community. Don’t forget, your voice matters, and your vote counts. Let’s continue to make a difference, one registration at a time.
