On Saturday, April 29 at Edward Vincent Park Jr. the second annual Inglewood STEM Fest was held in partnership with Science of Sport. Over 500 students (double from last year’s attendance) participated in an exciting day with activities integrating science, technology, engineering, and Math (STEM) applied through sports.
The students and their families visited each booth from the 20 partner organizations that included our very own LA Clippers. Accompanying the students at the festival was their families and members of the community that made the attendance for the event reach over 1,500 throughout the entire day.
Thank you to the LA sports teams especially the LA Clippers, Inglewood Parks and Recreation, Inglewood Unified School District, and Science of Sport for creating such a unique experience for our Inglewood kids! We cannot wait for next year.
